At the end of last week's episode, the Brits were up four to two.
The girls return to the house after panel where....
...Seymone was eliminated.
Eboni admits she thought she was going home at the last panel and that she should probably wear her pigtails all the time now.
Nigel arrives at the house with Chinese food. He sits and talks with the girls over dinner, and then gives them each a fortune cookie. When Nigel opens his fortune cookie, he announces they are going to Macau and informs the girls they need to pack as they are leaving now. All the girls are really excited. Catherine tells us that she came in second on Britain's Top Model and she wants to win this time around. When the models realize they will have to spend 15 hours on the plane with one another, they are not really looking forward to the trip to Macau.
When the girls arrive at the MGM hotel, Mr. Jay gives them the key to their hotel suite. As usual, the suite is big and beautiful. Annaliese talks about how she was a good presenter in the UK, but since entering the modeling world, she has learned she's capable of things she never dreamed she could do.
Alisha becomes upset when Sophie puts one of Alisha's dresses on the floor. Alisha ranted on and on about how her dress was on the floor and how Sophie shouldn't be touching her stuff.
The girls get a Tyra mail having to do with "face." Someone guessed that it was going to be a Cover Girl challenge. Miss J met the girls and introduced them to Clement Chan. Clement Chan informed the girls he would be giving the girls readings, noting their strong elements and what he thought each girl needed more of.
After he finished the readings, the girls had a challenge where they had to create an improved aura with the information they'd be given. Each girl added different colors of makeup and clothes to complement their auras and to bring in elements Clement felt they were missing. Catherine even tried wearing green lipstick, which unfortunately did not go over as she had hoped.
Clement announced the challenge winner as Laura. She won a spa treatement and had to take Eboni with her as Eboni was the only other US girl remaining. Their time at the spa seemed pretty awkward since the two of them don't really get along.
At this week's photo shoot, Mr. Jay informed the girls they would be wearing silk dresses designed by Barney Cheng and that they would also be accessorized with silk worms. Each girl also wore a wig containing short black hair to look more Asian. The photographer for the shoot was Paul Tsang.
Annaliese was up first. She took direction from Mr. J very well and was able to get a decent shot. Laura loves bugs, so she had no problem with the silk worms crawling around on her skin. She portrayed her best orgasm to show emotion in her face. Eboni's dress was light pink, which she noticed fit in with her youthful appearance. However, Mr. J thought her performance during the photo shoot was only, "middle of the road." Sophie got through her photo shoot without too much trouble. Catherine seemed to be having trouble portraying sadness in her face, so Mr. Jay told her to put herself in a sad situation. When Catherine thought about someone dying, she broke down in tears and she struggled to get through the shoot. Alisha showed emotion on her face, but Mr. Jay wasn't very impressed with her posing.
When they returned to the hotel, the girls found Tyra mail allerting them that panel was tomorrow - time for another elimination.
This week's panel consisted of Kelly Cutrone, Nigel Barker, Tyra Banks (of course), and guest judge Barney Cheng. Miss J wasn't at panel this week for some reason. The judges had some feedback for each girl:
Laura - Nigel loved Laura's photo because he said she had some fear, that it wasn't like she was scared of the world, but she was a little scared. Tyra also really enjoyed Laura's film.
Eboni - Tyra told Eboni she needed to learn her angles - a model's hips and shoulders should never be the same width in a photo. Tyra also didn't like that Eboni had no neck in the picture. Kelly liked the photo, though.
Alisha - Barney said he didn't like the way his dress looked on her. Tyra reminded her that modeling isn't about selling yourself, but selling the product.
Sophie - The judges thought her photo was okay, but they have seen a lot better from her. Tyra loved the dress, but thought the pose wasn't very good.
Catherine - The judges could see the emotion in her face, but they said she might want to scale it down a little so she doesn't end up crying through her photo shoot. Tyra suggested thinking about a time when her heart was broken rather than thinking about someone dying.
Annaliese - The judges seemed to like her photo a lot.
Top photo this week went to Laura. Runner up for best photo was Annaliese. Sophie, then Eboni were called next. That left the bottom two with Alisha and Catherine. Tyra told Alisha she made the dress look bad in her photo this week. Tyra reminded Catherine how great she did in the music video, but this week's photo was weak.
Alisha was called, meaning Catherine was eliminated.
