Survivor: One World Recap/Review: "Troyzan Against Everyone Else"

After the remaining members of the tribe make their way back to camp, Troyzan is angry because he knows he's the next tribe member to be voted out.  He gets into an argument with Alicia, who is confused as to why Troyzan is angry with her - she didn't vote for him.

Troyzan vows to win every immunity competition from here on out.  He declares that this is Troyzan versus everyone else.

The next morning, Troyzan talks with Chelsea.  She tries to tell him that Survivor's just a game and that Troyzan should act like Jonas did and, "Take it like a man."  She comments that Jonas worked his butt off at camp and he still took it like a man when he was voted out.  Troyzan tells the camera that the girls in the game act like most women in real life do - once they have their house and other material things, they decide they don't need you anymore.  Sounds like he's been burned in some relationships. Chelsea notes that Jonas deserves to be in the game more than Troyzan does.

The tree mail suggests they have an auction coming up, and they're bidding with $500 real cash.  While the women all want to get food at the auction, Troyzan hopes for an advantage in the game.

At the Survivor Auction everyone has $500 to spend and the auction will stop without warning.  The first item up for sale is three doughnuts and an iced coffee.  Chelsea purchases it for $160.  Next, Sabrina buys a plate of chips and guacamole and a margarita for $400, even though she says it's worth $500.  Leif purchases a protein shake and two bananas for $100.  At this point, Kat is frustrated that she hasn't gotten any food yet.

Kim buys a "Survivor shower," complete with shampoo and a toothbrush for a mere $40.  Next up is a BLT, chips, and an iced tea.  Kat is thrilled to win it for $180.  She's even more surprised when she discovers her sandwich has bacon on it, LOL.  Kat sure is amusing :)

Kim and Alicia get into a bidding war over some peanut butter and chocolate.  Kim wins it for $200+.  Alicia is upset.  Why she didn't bid more for it is beyond me.

Next up are letters from survivors' loved ones.  Tarzan bids $500 for one.  Jeff says anyone else who wants one for $500 can also have one, but few people actually have $500 left.  Troyzan remarks how alone he feels and that he knows it's him against everyone else at this point.

Troyzan's wish comes true; Jeff reveals the next item is an advantage in the next immunity challenge.  Troyzan and Christina get into a bidding war over the advantage.  The girls keep urging Christina to pay $500 to win the bid, but she drops out of the bidding and Troyzan wins it for $420.  He gets upset that nobody is happy for him.

Finally, Kat buys a covered item with a note for $160.  When Jeff uncovers it, the item turns out to be a cake with strawberries on it.  The note says that the cake is for the entire tribe and they have 60 seconds to eat it.  Everyone dives in and enjoys handfuls of cake.

Back at camp, Troyzan reads the card with the immunity challenge advantage.  He discovers he will automatically be in the second phase of the immunity challenge; instead of a one in nine shot at immunity, he will have a one in four shot at it.

Troyzan heads into the jungle to try to find a new hidden immunity idol.  Kim notices and leads the other players on their own search of the idol.  Nobody ends up finding it, but Troyzan folds a piece of cloth and puts it into his pocket to make the others think he's found an idol.

The immunity challenge has three parts to it.  The first four people to get some ropes untangled make it to the second round.  Troyzan has the immunity challenge advantage, so he doesn't have to compete in this phase of the challenge.  Troyzan, Tarzan, Christina, and Kim make it into the second round.  In the second round, players have to jump on a trampoline and throw coconuts to hit three targets.  The first two to hit all three targets advance to the final round.  Tarzan and Troyzan make it to the third and final round of the challenge.  They have to use a slingshot and coconuts to hit three consecutive targets on a tic-tac-toe board - either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.

Troyzan ends up winning the challenge.  He tells everyone he's only been playing at 50% up until this point.  The women point out he has only bought himself a few more days, but he insists he'll win all the immunity challenges from this point on.

Back at camp, Tarzan asks Troyzan to be gracious when he wins rather than rubbing it in everyone else's face.  Troyzan says he gets very competitive and he can't help his personality; that's just how he is.

Troyzan goes around and talks to the "outcasts" at camp and proposes they take Kim out.  It seems really logical and like a smart move to me.  Troyzan wants himself, Leif, Christina, Alicia, and Tarzan to vote for Kim to break up the group of four dominant girls, but will anyone join Troyzan in getting Kim voted out?

At tribal council, Troyzan's personality and conflicts with the other members of the tribe is brought to light again.  Sabrina says that Troyzan could win every single immunity challenge and still not win the game because if nobody likes him, they won't vote for him.  Troyzan and Sabrina get into an argument.  Troyzan reminds the "outcasts," about his proposal.  The women say that will only work if Christina and Alicia are actually at the bottom of the women's alliance.  Personally, I think Troyzan has a good plan.  What do they really have to lose by going along with it if they're really at the bottom of the women's alliance anyway?

Jeff reveals the votes: Kim has two votes, Tarzan gets three votes, and Leif is voted out with four votes.

Do you think the "outcasts," made a wise choice by voting Leif out instead of Kim?  Who do you think will make it into the top five?  Will Troyzan continue to win immunity challenges?  Please share your thoughts in the comments section.
